Founded by Kenji Uchimura in Kyoto, Japan, the goal behind KUOE is a rather simple one: to share the appeal of classic watch designs with the world. While it began as a crowdfunded sale for a single watch model in 2020, Kuoe has produced more than 10 watch collections to date, with even more planned for the year ahead.
Every Kuoe timepiece is hand-assembled in the brand’s Kyoto workshop, using custom-designed components and reliable Japanese movements. Staying true to vintage aesthetics and proportions, most of their models range from 34mm to 38mm in size.
